Found fabrics as single pieces or cut and tied and used to create larger assemblages either suspended from the ceiling, on walls, on the floor or various combinations of the above. These objects are not the result of a predetermined process and there is no initial conception of either an outcome or a meaning. in fact these pieces could be as they are or otherwise. Obviously light and point of view change appearance.
The pieces speak to a more radical conception of art. Non-static, non-hierarchical and non-privileged, the components ask to be moved into other formulations. Perhaps this expands the imagination of the viewer who should feel free to reuse the components in other configurations making the sculptor and the viewer co-creators and equals in an unstable world.
