We are at the end of politics. The traditional left is brainlessly pursuing meritocracy as a virtue and the right lives in a prelapsarian land of purity and patriarchal order.

We need to expose the trashiness of everything, MacMansions, the vulgarity of popular culture, the fact that nothing is real, that art is a fraud. Koons is king, and the 1% owns the art world. Nothing is what it appears. No one knows what is real and what is fake. Or does it make any difference? Trash rules.

My materials are orange safety fencing, discarded umbrellas, artificial flowers, old fabric, used cereal boxes, cardboard crates, straws etc., all a commentary on Late Stage Consumerism.  These are the connection between representation and reality.

Moving between figuration and abstraction, my two dimensional work is made from collaging my old paintings, drawings, photographs and found objects.

My sculpture is made without technology other than a glue gun, scissors, hammer and  saw. They have an unfinished appearance. The viewer can see the process. The developing fault lines are apparent.
